  1. Dude, did you see his feet and toenails? Obviously having your own custom last isn’t everything its cracked up to be…lol.

  2. Ben Reeves says:

I’m not even that picky. My ideal shoe right now, would be the Montrail Mountain Massochist upper combined with the Saucony Peregrine mid and outsole. Still, that’s cool to see the process.

  3. Spyros1976 says:

Killan Jornet is more of a Salomon tool, than an athlete. I have tried the S-Lab, not a minimalist shoe at all. Arch support and raised heel. Even the new Crossmax which is claimed to be low profile has more than enough arch support.

Definitely not minimalist, but still a cool video. Rare to get a look at how
      shoes are made like that.

  4. I agree, it is a cool video! Salomon’s were my first trail running shoe. ;)
I’m now transitioning to minimalist shoes (VFF’s), but I still like my old Salomon’s for running in the mud and snow.

  5. You see that Killian’s shoes weigh 7.25oz? The off the shelf ones are close to 4oz heavier each.
