Normally at the end of each year I do a few posts summing up my favorite shoes of the year. I plan to do a list of my top 5 road shoes within the next week (Nate may do one for trail as well), but wanted to take a slightly different approach by asking you what your favorite shoes of the year were. I’ll compile the results and post them alongside my own top shoe list.
All you need to do is fill out one or both of the forms below – one for road shoes, the other for trail. No need to rank them in any particular order, I’m just going to tally the votes by total number rather than weighting them by ranking.

I’m more of a “buy last year’s best-reviewed model” kind of guy, so I’m afraid only one of my 2013 running shoe purchases qualifies for the poll. (I’m assuming only votes for shoe models that debuted at retail in 2013.)
I agree about last years models. My favorite shoe of the year was my Kinvaras, but it wasn’t the Kinvara 4, it was the Kinvara 3!!
I didn’t have 3 choices I ran in so assuming single votes are ok. Look forward to tally and your votes (and nate’s)
I’m way to new to running to vote but I look forward to the tallies.
I would love to vote..but since I only start running for 6 months and have only wear 3 shoes..I’ll pass..hehe
