A Note on Review Posts:

Please note that I do not accept payment from product manufacturers for reviews or posts. I also do not accept unsolicited guest posts. I do occasionally run manufacturer-sponsored product giveaways to readers in conjunction with review posts, and I occasionally run posts sponsored by third party retailers (never by product manufacturers).

I have earned credibility by being completely honest in my reviews, and refuse to compromise the integrity of my reviews by accepting monetary payment in conjunction with them. I am happy to entertain offers to review products, but be aware that my review will be honest and thorough – if I like a product, I will say so, if I don’t, I will say so as well. This approach has been very successful for me and is appreciated by my readers.

Also be aware that I am very selective about what I will review – I turn down far more review offers than I accept. I am more likely to review products that I would buy myself and that can integrate easily into my daily living and training. Given that Runblogger is a one-man show (though I do occasionally have friends review products for me), my time is limited to try products and write about them – don’t be offended if I turn down your offer for this reason. If you have a product you would like me to consider for a review, feel free to contact me.

Damn! I thought I got a lot of visits on my site. You do a great job with your reviews and I love your race reports, so I am not surprised. Great ad policy.

That visitor’s profile looks like it would be a good race. ;-)

I have recently started a Kickstarter project that was developed on some long runs. It is a product that is designed to hold your ear buds in place as you hit the road. I know that you have a very influential blog in the running world and I was hoping you would take a look at my page and let me know what you think about the concept.

I would appreciate your input. Thanks in advance! Once we start manufacturing, I can send you a few pairs for your time!

    Hi!

My name is Molly Wren-Holmes and I am a student at Cal Poly SLO. WingFoot Iskiate: Chia Drink Mix is my senior project. It is basically chia seeds on-the-go that taste good! They’re great for endurance and this makes taking them convenient. What do you think?

    Thank you :)

    Hi;

My name is Steve Roumeliotis, and we are producing a home-grown product that eliminates the worry about loose laces during a race, hike or adventure run. The product is called SUMO-Grip, and is available through http://www.sprgear.com. It basically holds your lace knot (no matter how you tie it) and prevents it from coming loose. I have used the first prototypes for over 8 months and 1,000km of runs, and never have my laces come undone.

Unlike other products, you do not replace or alter the original shoe laces.

I would like to send you a pair to evaluate.

Cheers and thank you for the great blog!

    Steve

    Hey Peter,

Alright this is no ordinary product needing review.
We are a start-up out of Nashville, TN and we have an all-natural chia seed based energy gel.
Two things performance gels lack are taste and stomach issues.
We solved both with Huma Gel. It taste soooo good and when it goes down there is no negative stomach issues. Bcause it is all-natural.
