Nice work!
What shoes did you wear?
Sean – went with the Saucony Kinvara, and it worked out great. Near perfect
shoe for marathon distance, though I’d prefer a bit less cushion in a
shorter race.
Pete,
That’s great! I’m looking forward to the full report. You may recall that we are in a similar place in regards to our training, ages, shoes (I was debating on whether to wear my Kinvaras or not…), etc. and that we corresponded some about our respective efforts to BQ. I’m running Chicago next weekend and still formulating my plan. Looking forward to hearing how it unfolded for you, what shoes you wore, and what pacing strategy you used. Again, well done!

Dang Pete, that is just great! Please do yourself a favor and recovery conservatively. I know how pleased you must be with that wonderful run.

AWESOME! Congrats on the BQ!!
The weather was great up here in Milan. It must have been fantastic in Hampton. Can’t wait to hear all about the race.

Gratz Pete! Hard work pays off, it does that every time.

Science makes us fast.
Congratulations, Pete. See you in Boston!

So glad we got to BQ together! Maybe they’ll let me in the same corral as you!
Likewise Matt – can’t wait for April!
