]]> Racing against professional runners yesterday in the mile race at the New Balance Games in NY, Bronxville High School Junior Mary Cain set a new American record time of 4:32.78. Cain’s time broke a record that had stood since 1972 (a 4:38.5 mile by Debbie Heald).
