At the moment I am enjoying every km in my green Kinvara 7’s. I also have a pair of Boston 6 I still have to wear in (did also have a couple of Boston 5’s before). The Kinvara is much friendlier to my forefeet opposed to the Boston’s. And I really like the Boston’s, except that they are just not wide enough for me (I have pretty normal feet). So I am really looking forward to the Freedom ISO shoes.

Welcome back and loved your review :). Love the saucony freedom. Interesting you say its more a long distance shoe. I have read a few reviews that suggest its more versatile than that. Ranging from short fast distances up to marathons. I tested against a few Adidas shoes and found the freedom generally more comfortable especially the uppers – not the mid foot cage like some Adidas models that restrict movement in the wider foot . I found it quite fast when you push them for fast runs as well as good for slower runs too. Your thoughts, Thanks

I wish Kinvara 8 had the same wide frorefoot.

Thanks for the info, that’s what I suspected. The crystal rubber seems extremely durable, but I do wonder if it contributes to the sense of added weight in the sole.

Based on what I’ve experienced so far with them, I’d say they might be capable of hitting that 500+ mile mark.
