We had two guys start the program this year. One dropped after a few weeks, the other stopped coming to workouts and we never heard from him as to whether he continued on his own.

Both years we’ve had over 20 in the group. Last year we had 3 guys. This year just two, and both disappeared after like the second week. The women often joked about it. Not sure what the reason is for the skewed gender ratio or if it’s typical for groups like this.

I can’t help but notice there were no men mentioned in the article, and the photo is only women as well (save yourself, Pete). Wondering how much gender factors into joining a running group. Any thoughts?
