The biggest pro i can tell you right out of the gate is that Jaybird nailed the fit this time.https://twitter.com/latestonecom

You had a nice idea about where to keep the phone, I normally use armband, but sometimes there is hiccup to the audio.

It’s extremely helpful. I’m looking for my first pair of Bluetooth earphones for running and I’ve been on the internet for days looking for the best one and your review had helped me to make my decision. Thanks again! :)

Okay for me because I’d only be running for about an hour. I cant downgrade though, so maybe I’ll give the Jaybirds a whirl.

Wow – that’s a bummer.

I’ve been heavily using mine for about 2 months with no issues, but you story convinced me to do the warranty sign-up that I hadn’t gotten around to.

Thanks for the tip, saves me a purchase. I’ll stick with the Freedoms!

Is that Taylor Swift song before or after the Justin Bieber song :)

I think I have a 4gb plan and have never exceeded the data usage. Music isn’t that taxing as far as I can tell, and lots of times I use music stored locally on the phone which uses no data.

I noticed that you said you were previously using an older iPod Nano, but now go running with the iPhone. I was curious how data usage factors into this. I’ve thought about running with my phone before, but since runs outside mean 4G coverage, the data is quick to compound.

Have you ever noticed if running for an hour (or longer) produces any kind of sizable spike in your total data? I’m sure some people may have unlimited data plans, but I believe the majority of people have some type of tiered option. This is why is usually revert to the iPod for music and other downloaded podcasts.

Good points and useful info.

I’ve got the BlueBuds and really like them.

One thing I’d add is for everyone to try these (or any other headphone) with a pair of Decibullz.

$10 and you have a custom fit that is really nicer.

I do not own any type of yur-buds (I use the stock white apple buds until they disintegrate) but they are known for staying put. Also, a major deal breaker for me is the lack of controls on the wireless buds, I keep my phone bundled up pretty tight and it’s a pain to pull it out and skip over a Taylor Swift song… Umm, that my wife put on there.

It’s my favorite. The battery lasted the six hours as claimed when I used it last year for a marathon. But I’m not a fan of the earphone tips/earbuds that were included so I got the Comply brand earbud tips. That made a huge difference! The bass sounds really came through once I started using those.
