I’ve had the Garmin VivoFit for a few days now, seems to measure more steps than the old Fitbit Ultra. Unfortunately with the latter lost I may need to steal my wife’s for a few days to compare!

This goes nicely with the blogroll and your regular reviews in creating a whole running resource. I agree with you about the FB world burying links and being less helpful.

I actually have the Fitbit Force and have been using it for updwards of 3 months now. For what it’s worth, I haven’t had any irritations or issues with it at all. I think there is some variance (as you pointed out in a previous post) on how accurate it tracks steps on a run versus walking – but since it’s likely consistently inaccurate, I still find it very valuable to measure my activity level and it encourages me to get up and move on days where I don’t have a run on the calendar.

Time, or lack thereof. The site could probably be launched in a week if I could devote a bit of time to it, just hesitating since not sure how prepared any of the three of us involved are to commit to maintaining another site. I’d love to get it going and just see what happens, we’ll see.

Good articles, though. I enjoy reading Joe Uhan’s stuff on iRunFar, when I can find the links through all the pre and post-race interviews.
