Anyone know what is closest thing to the original 730 that I could take a look at ?

The V2, after about 100 miles is falling apart. It was never as good as the original but the fact that it falls apart after a few weeks worth of work makes this the biggest shoe buying disappointment of my running life. NB has opened their door to competitors from a loyal customer.

The New Balance MR00 is pretty similar aside from being zero drop. Merrell Bare Access would be another, but again zero drop.

After about 10 miles, I saw the same tearing of the outer “honeycomb-like” mesh. I also did not like to firmness of the sole as I could not feel the ground like I could in v1. A big change from v1 in my opinion! Also, the placement of the treads is unfortunate as a divot falls right under my big toe and produced a sore spot on a short run. The heel seems more narrow and so does the toe box. Overall, not happy and put the shoes away after 20 miles. Fortunately I have squirreled away a few more v1’s. For now, I’m going to try some Altra’s. Any other shoes similar to v1 that you can recommend?
