Dec 2015: I picked up a pair of Under Armour Women’s UA SpeedForm® Apollo GR Running Shoe in lovely Twilight Purple color. I loved everything about how it looks <3

Today (22 Feb 2016): I've been wearing these shoes for just about 2 months now and ONLY at the gym, where I'd be on the treadmill for about 30-45 mins, then doing light weights (dumb bells) and mat work. Since reading this review, I've always worn socks.

HOWEVER, I too developed a blister under my right foot — exactly where you described it: at the front of the arch near where the taped seam is located. It's just one blister (like one dot). My left foot isn't fully blistered yet but I can see the dot where a blister is forming.

I guess I'll try changing my socks..? I don't know if anyone else is getting blisters WITH socks…

In reply to DJ. The UA shoe will be firmer and less flexible than the Nikes. The Nikes fit a bit narrower in the forefoot. Those would be the major deciding factors I think.

I’m trying to decide between this under armour shoe and the Nike Free 3.0. I run 4-8 miles five times a week and do some plyometric stuff too. 21 years old, male… Just building a context. What do you think?

In reply to oldrunnerdude. Under Armour is going to be extending their line based off this shoe, we'll see what comes in 2014. It wasn't a perfect shoe but a step in the right direction for the brand.

Here are some shoes that also make a statement, although I think people will think it's a statement about my sexual preferences (not that there's anything wrong with that!). Whatever. I think they look pretty good. They remind me of some crazy shirts I had in the 80s.

They have them at Under Armour website, Amazon, Road Runner Sports, Holabird. Probably just hitting stores now and should be in wider distribution soon.
