I don’t have independent confirmation on the Kinvara designer, but I can say that my son just got a pair of the Puma Mobiums, and they are pretty nice. They are very flexible, decent forefoot width, lightweight, 6mm drop, and a stretchy upper. Puma has quietly been getting some street cred among my more minimal-leaning running friends, though they are a bit more cushioned than what I tend to buy.
