I’d probably rate the 730 as the best bargain if 2012, maybe I need another list

I had some issue with that area early on but we worked on it a lot to try and fix. Haven’t had any problems with the production model myself, but haven’t run sockless in them in awhile – too cold up here!

It’s 8mm with the included insole. Lots of times reported numbers from brands and retailers don’t include the insole, which can add to the drop. I have a pair of calipers that I use to confirm drop.

Any advise on a way to manually fix this issue? I followed your lead on cutting the strap on the PT10 and that worked like a treat. It’s a shame to return them if I can do something. I also ordered the Brooks PureDrift. I’m excited to try them too.

Kinvara size 10. Nike Free 3.0 v1-3 size 10. V4 in 10.5. Today I tried on Adidas Feathers and size 10 was good. I also just found an old pair of Saucony Triumphs: 10.5.
I would like to order A5s, but not sure 10 or 10.5.

I was fitted in-store. Another size up and there would be too much toe space. It was both points on the left foot which took the skin right off and one point on the right which caused redness. Darned shame. BTW, is there some stat on the rise of sock less running? I’m often surprised by how little thought has gone into this element of running shoe comfort.

Why ? Everywhere it is listed as a 6mm drop shoe. Even in running warehouse and on he NB homepage. hmmm ? Do you use your own measurements ?

Thanks

Good points! Yes, the insole is being tinkered with. Seems like I get an envelope with new insole designs every week! The challenge is making something very thin that can hold it’s shape and not fold up. While I have not experienced what you have in the Skechers shoes, it did happen when I used the Go insole in the Brooks Grit (swapped it) and I’ve experienced it with insoles from Vivobarefoot as well. They’re trying things like texturing the bottom so it doesn’t slide, stiffening it a bit, etc. Hopefully a good solution will arise, I’m impressed by how quickly they work at a problem like this :)
