Weird, it’s available now. I’m not sure why I couldn’t play it just a few minutes ago. It said that the uploader had not given permission to play the video in my country. Maybe a YouTube glitch.

Mumford and Son’s is just piece of that puzzle though. Although slightly different genre’s, I think these artists all played a role in the throwback trend:

Nora Jones: (absolute genre buster from her jazzy stuff to stuff similar to Mumford and Sons with “The Little Willies” but it’s nearly all throwback)
Old Crow Medicine Show
The Lumineers
Black Keys (again not quite a country/folk throwback but throwback non the less)
Brandi Carlile
The Avet Brothers (probably the most similar to Mumford and Sons)

You could even include Adel and Duffy

I could go on and on. Mumford and Sons are great, but the trend i’m what I’m grateful for.

I was fortunate enough to see ’em play live at Jazzfest last year. Just as good live as on my mp3 player while I’m on a run…

Don’t get me wrong, this song is good, but I prefer to listen to something with a faster beat. Whenever I listen to an upbeat song, I tend to run faster.

Thanks for the list, haven’t heard of most of those bands, so always good to have new music to check out!
