A professor of something other than English (clearly) refers to the offspring his wife risked her life to birth, as “his”. Oh dear.

I’m a lab assistant at Women and Infants Hospital in RI and I do quite a bit of research on TTTS and how it comes about. Thank you for sharing your story — nothing motivates me more than reading about those who’ve been affected by TTTS. Keep up the great work.

I just ran that marathon with you. It seems very fitting that you did something so tough to commemorate and celebrate your daughters.

I’m British but know Burlington well and will be spending December there this year at my partners family home. I’m hoping the weather will be kind enough to get some running in but I may need some heavy winter gear.

You made a damn good time on that race.

Thanks,

Forest.

I think the world would be a better place if everyone would give running, cycling, or swimming an honest effort. I think certain body types have more natural aptitude for one or more of those activities.

It’s cool that we’re friends on dailymile, but after reading about your beginnings as a runner, I feel like I “know” you a lot better.

Inspirational stuff. Keep up the tremendous work!
