I hope that this finds you well. I work with YakTrax (http://www.yaktrax.com) and I am looking for runners like you to try out some of our new products and offer reviews for us via your blog. I know that with the cold winter months facing us ahead, snow and ice can become an issue. That is why I believe our YakTrax products will be a great asset for your winter training.

There are no gimmicks or strings attached, just send me your shoe size and mailing address and I’ll send some of our latest products to you (or if you have a special request for a product on our website, just let me know -you know what would help your running better than I would :o). We are dedicated to improving and adjusting our products for the needs of our clients. YakTrax and its parent company Implus Footcare, are leaders in the below-the-ankle- fashion and the company prides itself on creating products that enhance the natural pleasure of runnning. Getting customer feedback like this is one of the best ways for us to keep our products in check.

If you are interested in receiving any of our products, please e-mail me back at yaktrax.experience@gmail.com

Have a great run!

Whitney

Really hard to say – everyone is a bit different. If you do try the barefoot
shoes, work your way in very gradually. It is easy to hurt yourself if you
do too much too soon. It’s really a matter of trying things out and seeing
what works best for you.

I am a new female runner. Will be running/jogging/walking inside (treadmill and track) for several months. As well as doing yoga/pilates. (40 something). Would the barefoot running shoes work. I have high arches.

Thanks.

Whitney,

I’d love to give the YakTrax a try! I wear a size 10 running shoe, and I
suppose the YakTrax Pro would be more appropriate for running? I’d be happy
to blog/podcast a review.
