A year ago I bought my Skechers Go Run shoes. In size 11. They suited me fine, but since I also run regularly in Vibrams, Go Bionics, Inov-8 Bare-x 180's and other shoes, my toes prefer more room than the Go Runs are giving me. Last 14 mile run that I ran in them I was afraid I would loose a toenail during the run. I hope that removing the insole will help to improve this. Since I never run sockless, blisters probably won't be an issue. But has somebody already tried to do this? I don't want to trash my shoes by cutting the wrong seams.
