Skechers GoBionic Now Available, and a 5-Pair Giveaway!

Skechers Go Bionic WomensAbout six months ago I wrote a very positive review of the Skechers Go Bionic running shoe. My friend Nate (of the BikerNate blog – view his Go Bionic review here) and I had been working with Skechers for several months as independent wear testers to refine the shoe prior to final production, and the final product is one that I like quite a bit. The Go Bionic is a zero-drop, cushioned, super-flexible shoe with a fairly wide toebox – it’s both a fantastic shoe to run in and an excellent choice for flat casual wear.

Skechers-Go-BionicThe Go Bionic has now been released, and I’ve already received positive feedback from both readers and friends regarding the shoe. It’s the first shoe that incorporates some direct feedback from me, so I’m excited to see it hit the market!

The Skechers Go Bionic can be purchased in a variety of color combinations at Skechers.com – use code ENT15 at checkout for 15% off!

If you’ve had the chance to try it already, let me know what you think!

  1. You know I love them. Now about that trail version :)

  2. Jessica Ryall says:

I’m curious to see what Sketchers has to offer…never tried their running shoes..

  3. I’d be interested in trying them. I haven’t thought of Sketchers as a running shoe company. Thanks for the review and giveaway Pete.

  4. Sarah @RunFarGirl says:

I took a look at these a month ago after hearing you mention them in the Running for Life workshop. They look like a decent shoe that’s not expensive. I’ve been wearing the Kinvara but this might be a good one to try, just to see how it feels. The only feedback I have is the colors of the women’s shoes are a little drab. Not that I’m a fan of pink and purple, but something a little brighter would be more fun!

  5. these’ll help me get someone else into wearing zero drop shoes…when does the contest end?

  6. “zero-drop, cushioned, super-flexible shoe with a fairly wide toebox”

    They sound perfect

  7. Running Unplugged says:

    Wide toe box? Yes, please.

  8. One complaint, foot specific. The rubber “teeth” around the arch area aggravate one of my feet. on the arch near the heel. Otherwise everything is to like and I highly doubt many will have this problem (collapsed arch).

  9. Hey Pete, is the giveaway still going on? Thanks!

  10. I would so love new sneakers to train for the Philly marathon. My progrid 5’s have seen better days!

  11. so…what’s up with the contest?

  12. Skechers go bionic is by far the best shoes I have ever used working as an ER nurse. It offers a great deal of flexibility and comfort on my feet and I stride, walk and run with ease of movement. I am shopping for 5 more pairs. It is so light and airy, it feels like you are. Walking on clouds. I work long hours, at the end of my shift I don’t feel pain on my feet and legs anymore unlike with the other shoes I used to wear.
