  1. looks like the green silence and the pure connect had a baby

that is a pretty big toe spring

  3. “We have the beveled heel or ideal heel which will move the runner more forward in the foot strike.” Am I the only one that sees a big flaw in this beveled heel idea? Sure, if you are over-striding and heel striking, it may help you roll forward from heel to toe more smoothly. But if you have a natural foot strike, the beveled heel is going to get in the way of proper mechanics. When I tried a beveled heel shoe on, I noticed my weight never felt like it moved back to my heel after my forefoot touched down. Instead, all my weight went uncomfortably to my arch before toeing off again.

I’m actually a big fan of the beveled heel – as long as it’s flat under the base of the calcaneus the heel should come down fine. I actually think it’s a lot more like the shape of he human heel than most shoes.

  4. The question is what will be better, the Saucony Virrata, or this? I’ll prob just stick to Kinvaras. Although the Adidas Gazelle looks nice
